35 minServes 4

Crispy cornstarch-coated chicken meets a glossy honey-garlic sauce in one skillet. Serve it over rice and dinner is done in about 35 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1½ lb boneless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into chunks
- ½ cup cornstarch
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp oil
- For the sauce:
- ⅓ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water
- Sliced green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish
Method
- 1
Season chicken with salt and pepper, then toss lightly in cornstarch.
- 2
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken in batches until crisp, golden, and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.
- 3
Combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Pour into the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer.
- 4
Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until glossy and thickened. Return all chicken to the skillet and toss until completely coated.
- 5
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
